Project Overview

A content platform needed robust backend infrastructure to power their operations with automated data synchronisation from external APIs. The solution required efficient data storage and seamless integration with advertising services—all while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Technical Solution

We built a sophisticated Cloudflare Worker using TypeScript to handle data synchronisation between external APIs and the platform's storage layer. The serverless architecture leverages Cloudflare's global edge network for fast, reliable data processing regardless of user location.

Architecture Highlights

The serverless architecture eliminates traditional server maintenance while providing infinite scalability. The Cloudflare Worker runs on Cloudflare's global edge network, processing requests in milliseconds regardless of geographic location.

Data synchronisation happens automatically, pulling updates from external APIs and storing them efficiently in Cloudflare R2 (object storage) and D1 (SQL database).
